The Allen Parish Assessor’s office is responsible for the discovery, listing, and valuing of all property subject to ad valorem tax. This includes Real Estate, Personal Property (movables in business), and Oil and Gas Property and Equipment. As your Assessor, my goal is to perform these duties with fairness to all citizens of Allen Parish. My office door is always open for your concerns or questions. The Assessor’s Office keeps and maintains at a high level of accuracy all land ownership within Allen Parish. Ownership and legal descriptions are information that can be found on assessment listings available in the Assessor’s Office. The Assessor’s Office files the annual tax-roll with the Louisiana Tax Commission, while ensuring that assessments are done according to the Constitution of the State of Louisiana and the Revised Statutes that are passed by the Legislature. Our mission is to provide friendly service to all Allen Parish Residents and maintain accurate records for all property within our Parish. We work to provide fairness in our valuations of property and protect your homestead exemption. Our knowledgeable staff are always ready to serve and provide information to you at your request.
